Besides the beautiful music, I love how accessible they are. I was just at their show in Arizona and they came out, and were signing posters. And I know that they like to do that a lot. And they have this awesome website where you can see what they're up to. They post journals, and you can e-mail them. I think it's cool. It makes you feel like a tight-nit little group. Who concurs? _________________ -Kat...arina |

I doubt there is a single person who would disagree with you. Though I would say that the way in which they are able to paint an image with their lyrics is also quite high on my list of things I love about them. In a way though, it's almost a curse that they are so open though, 'cause you feel like you know them, but you also know that it's not really a two way thing. In a strange sense, it seems as though it might almost be better if they were either completely accessible (as in you could just randomly IM them whenever you wanted) or if they weren't accessible at all. Not saying I think they should change anything, just that it's in an odd in between place, if that makes any sense. _________________

Yeah what you say is true. But that's always the way isn't it? Even when you become a moderately successful writer you can't really answer all of your fan mail and you can't answer more than one per person. But I know they care for their fans more than other people do - just look at their blogs, the things they say about us - they really mean them. And that's beautiful. Let's just hope they'll always be like that. As I've said many times - I'd love to meet them here in Rome and give them a tour of the city. I've got a degree in archaeology so I could be a good guide, lol! _________________ http://www.eisley-italia.tk ! "Δῶς μοι πᾶ στῶ καὶ τὰν γᾶν κινάσω"

They seem like genuinely kind people. People you wouldn't mind being neighbors with; people you'd like to be friends with. I use the word "seem" because I haven't spent any time with them in real life, but from everything we've seen of the Duprees, there's nothing to suggest that they're anything but awesome. |

thats basically how it is now, because of myspace and stuff. everyone wants to be involved... and everyone wants to be their friend. i love the journals though, not all bands do that. not a lot at all actually, its so very special what boyd does for us and i appreciate it so much! _________________ www.allisongill.net www.myspace.com/silverbugs www.last.fm/users/allisoncostello www.imahuman.tumblr.com www.isitreallysostrange.wordpress.com [i spend too much time on the internet, apparently.]
