Here are some pictures from the show, I took a lot more but I don't feel like editing them anymore. Hah. I hope you like them:
The performance was absolutly wonderful. They sounded so good, I loved the acoustic sound, but I can't wait to see them with Mute Math now. It was great hearing Chauntelle sing too. Another bonus was that I got to meet Meredith (anotherrandomtuesday) which was awesome! Plus, she saved me a seat in the front row, sooo basically I love her.
We both talked to boyd after which was great. We were talking about how surprising it was that WB put the songs on their myspace. And other stuff that I don't remember. One of my most favorite parts of the night was when they messed up on Trolleywood and they were just like... "uhh... hallelujah..?... " at the end, haha. Oh! and Wesley and Christie sang really good! Christie's got some pipes. I had some video.. but I'm having trouble uploading it, so hopefully it will be up soon. The end.[img][/img] _________________ www.allisongill.net www.myspace.com/silverbugs www.last.fm/users/allisoncostello www.imahuman.tumblr.com www.isitreallysostrange.wordpress.com [i spend too much time on the internet, apparently.]

I found it very funny when Sherri was talking, Weston was tapping lightly on his drum. After a few seconds of it, Sherri twisted around and shouted, "STOP IT!" Weston was startled to a stop and was like, "Sorry..." My pictures didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but I will share a few.
Dark. Sorry.
This one is not good at all. Stacy was right in my path of seeing Garron on bass so I had to catch him playing the marxaphone. (Which I think I am falling in love with...)
Eh...this one is not very good either. I've never had my skin turn to gooseflesh so many times in a concert before. Oh, it was amazing. A dream. I want to go back in time. |

After Allison's pictures my already below average pics are making me feel really inadequate. A skyscraper window outside the venue had duct tape on it: (irrelevant to show, but funny.)
Wesley Jensen:
Christie:
Eisley:
Meeting Allison and Jasa was pretty much amazing as well. I do have more pics, if anyone so desires. |

What a great, intimate show! I thought I was a fan for driving two and a half hours from SC, but the couple sitting next to us had driven all the way from Maryland so their daughter could see Eisley! Those are some very, very cool parents (and, everyone in the family was really nice, as well). The show was great overall, I liked Wesley's set way more than I thought I would, I'm sort of over the singer/songwriter thing, but it was really good, as is his CD. Eisley was great, too. I wish the stage was a little bigger, though, I hardly saw Weston or Garron the whole night. Stacy, Chauntelle, and Sherri were, of course, amazing. It didn't sound like they were too big on the idea of the acoustic tour, but I thought it was a great presentation of their music, and just a generally great, intimate performance. Can't wait for Tuesday! |

CaughtOnFilm, I was sitting fourth row back and I told my friend I liked your dress, very cute! Aw, awesome! Here is the setlist - I grabbed Sherri's. Come Clean Many Funerals Memories Go Away Just Like We Do I Could Be There For You Telescope Eyes ( I could have gone without hearing this song again. Right before Sherri said "Okay, now we're gonna play a really, really old song. So, I'm thinking, AHH Mos Eisley stuff!!.. But no.. It was just Telescope Eyes.) Golly Sandra Taking Control Marvy Things TrolleyWood I Wasn't Prepared (This was absolutely beautiful... probably my favorite song they did that night, every note was perfect, better than I have ever heard before) Invasion (Sherri hit the YOuuUUUUuuUUU notes PERFECT. Ahh. It was awesome, I can't wait to hear this on Conan! Stacy said that they were excited yet horrified about playing on the 30th, hah. ) Combinations If You're Wondering ( I recorded this song as a video, and its awesome and beautiful and everything.. but it won't load onto YouTube even after I compressed it. Does anyone else know what I can do to upload this video? ) _________________ www.allisongill.net www.myspace.com/silverbugs www.last.fm/users/allisoncostello www.imahuman.tumblr.com www.isitreallysostrange.wordpress.com [i spend too much time on the internet, apparently.]

Just so all you know, I think the stated 3 October concert at The Roxy is wrong. I know that's what it says on the myspace schedule, but Mute Math isn't showing it on their schedule. What Mute Math does show is playing with Eisley at the Tabernacle in Atlanta on 3 November. The Tabernacle website also shows this. The Roxy's website has nothing about Eisley. What's more is that on 2nd and 4th October they are playing in Utah and Denver so something tells me they're not driving from Utah to Atlanta to Denver in 3 consecutive days. Meanwhile, in November they're in the southeast. So it all makes sense to me. http://mutemath.com/tickets/ http://www.tabernacleatl.com/calendar.php?calID=11&yrID=2007 |
