I love Eisley's songs, but i thought it would be totally awesome if the band might add in one or two cover songs to their live show to spice things up a bit.

I only have one recommendation: STONEHENGE, by Spinal Tap

The song is totally rockin' and it features all the instruments Eisley has in its arsenal. Also there are two lead vocal parts, so Stacy and Sherri could trade off.

Any other suggestions?

id recommend 'what are you' from audioslave......... or Bombtrack from rage against the machine... the rage one would give jonathan a good chance to show off his stuff.

I just think that radiohead or pink floyd is a bad idea only because they are already heavily influenced by them. A rockin' metal song or two will keep people on their toes, making them wonder what they will do next. That's all I'm sayin.

thats a bit better but those songs are ones that everyone hears if they put their own spin on them people might be dissappointed...stupid people mind you but no band can afford too much dissappointment

eisley is representative of full blown artistic freedom

but what do I know

Though I don't think Eisley's current material necessarily needs to be supplemented, cover songs can be a lot of fun. I have a lot of ideas running through my head, but one of the first was the Beach Boys "In my room" or "Wouldn't it be nice" particularly towards the end of "wouldn't" when the back up vocs come in 'good night my baby, sleep tight my baby'
Maybe a Simon and Garfunkel tune.
As far as Pink Floyd songs "Breathe" and "Welcome to the machine" come to mind.

Actually, when i was in highschool, I formed a tenacious D cover band to play a one show only concert at a senior awards ceremony. (I did JB's part because we look alike, my voice isnt nearly as awesome. when i say that i mean overweight, shaggy haired and beard ridden.)

thats where i got it.
