Posted: Thu Aug 23, 2007 10:31 am (or may have been caught) listening to Eisley. In my case: at 2000 metres, in the Swiss mountains, with curious cows nudging me and licking my hands. I hope the cows got addicted to Texan indie! Maybe it will help 'em make better milk lol. _________________ http://www.eisley-italia.tk ! "Δῶς μοι πᾶ στῶ καὶ τὰν γᾶν κινάσω"

Good times. Hey, I evacuated Rita too (a grueling friggin 16 hour drive). Don't recall playing Eisley. I remember Kings of Leon, Boards of Canada, and Joy Electric being on heavy roto though. |

I made it a point to listen to Eisley in strange places like the mountains of rural China and walking around Beijing, as well as playing it for friends in Germany and family in China. Eisley should be world-wide! I wonder if they still have that seemingly large Malaysian following. That was cool. _________________ |

people have said this already, but listening to "Over the Mountains" while driving through mountains = fantastic this is like totally out of nowhere, but i have this memory of last year, thanksgiving time, i was at my lakehouse, and we were driving through the mountains around there, and i associate that song so much with that visual it made me feel really calm and happy. i love that memory. k, back on topic. sorry. |

A couple weeks ago in Yemen, when I was scared out of my mind that the villa we were staying in was being broken into, I was listening to Eisley and Paramore on my iPod. And out in the desert too; good dune bashing music _________________ To Write Love On Her Arms the world is poor because her fortune is buried in the sky and all her treasure maps are of the earth. |

The only exciting-ish story of playing Eisley I can think of is when my friends and I turned up Invasion so loud I'm positive everyone in the intersection could hear it. This was a great topic idea, Jan Claus. I am inspired to play it somewhere really random and fun now. It's going on my list of life goals. _________________ No one sensible believes in ghosts anyway- that's because they're all such liars. |
