i've been planning out a Telecaster "build" for a while now, and it's got me thinkin' 'bout Telecasters all the time (no, really, all the time.) so, anyways, i was lookin' through some "Eisley art" (well, some of Sherri's and Stacy's stuff, anyways), and i got to thinkin' "how'd this stuff look on a Telecaster?", and quickly answered myself "pretty darn awesome!" i know Chauntelle designed some fella's tattoo, and this is kind of the same sort of thing, right? just BIGGER! so, how possible do you think it might be for one of the girls to design me a, uh, for lack of a better way of putting it, "Telecaster tattoo?" you know, somethin' like this:

only, uh, Sherri/Stacy/Chauntelle/whoever styled. i mean, after all, wouldn't that just be, well, pretty darn awesome? it'd look a lot better than this (which is what my "design" currently look like):

though it may not be as cool as this:

but, then again, what's more cool than that? i mean, any cooler and it'd be uncool! you know? but that one's probably never going to happen! Sad

anyways, all of this is way off in the future somewhere, and i'm still not entirely sure how we'd do it (send the unfinished body off to them to paint? have 'em design something and find someone here to paint it? have 'em design something, digitize it, make a decal out of it, and just stick the damn thing on?), but, uh, well, i don't know… what do you guys (band, fans, whoever) think? yes? no? maybe? sort of?

hmm…

just a 3:00 in the morning (or close enough) thought from a raving lunatic/insomniac/Eisley fan…

well, i've been spending the past hour or so (or however long it's been) sticking different peices of Sherri and Stacy art on a Telecaster (i couldn't find any Chauntelle art!), and this is the coolest looking one i could come up with:

probably not very representative of what she's doing now (or is it?), but, still…

edit: this is probably closer to what most people'd think an "Eisley-caster" would look like, i think:

i'm not sure which i like better… hmm… but y'all get the idea…

people think wierd things at 3:00 in the morning don't they? but, now, after waking up (no, really, i just woke up — though i've sort of off/on all day), i'm thinking it'd probably be easier to what Gretsch does: take a clear pickgaurd, stick a decal on the back, and (optionally) paint over it. it'd still get that Eisley "mojo" goin', but, well, again, it'd be much easier (and probably look a lot more "sensible", for better or worse.) heck, Gretsch people do it all the time! i just need a real vector file, and off the the print shop! but, then, i'd still need everything else (except for the bridge, which i have lying around [and that's why my Telecaster has a Stratocaster bridge, in case you were wondering.])

but, yeah, that Stacy art Telecaster (Stacy-caster?) still looks awesome!
