It'll be my first Eisley show in Nashville and I was curious who else is coming. I know quiet a few people from my school going, so that's always good.

Does anyone know if there's anywhere to eat around City Hall? I've heard it's somewhat isolated or something.

There's a Sambuca and an expensive-looking sushi place right up the sidewalk from City Hall. When I was out there for a Brandi Carlile show last month my fiancé went to a McDonalds... Google says there are two about equidistant from the place. There's a map at http://maps.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=en&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&q=mc donald's&near=+405+12th+Avenue+South+Nashville,+TN+37203&ie=UTF8&z=16& om=1

Have fun!

I'm going to that show.
I want to make sure the girl that licked Boyd's ear is not there waiting for him. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Was the story posted on LC or Trolley Wood? If so, and if it isn't too much trouble, could you (or someone) please post a link to it?

Haha. I remember that story. Hopefully she isn't there. If she is, I'll help you tell her off or something. Laughing

It's one of Kim's posts, I remember reading it on here somewhere. Basically what happened was Boyd was sitting up front at the show and Kim saw a girl go up to him and lean in like she was whispering something to him. She walked away and Boyd turned around with a puzzled look on his face. Kim later asked him what she said and he said "Nothing, she just licked my ear!" And guess who the girl turned out to be: Faith Hill!

It's in an area called "the Gulch" there are a couple trendy restaurant/bar type places right next to City Hall. There's a McD's on the corner of 12th and Broadway.

There's a lot of great places within a few miles of the venue. If you go down Broadway (away from downtown) you'll get onto 21st Ave and there is ALOT there and it's a really short drive. Theres Noshville, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, San Antonio Taco Co (HIGHLY recommended), Brewhouse, a sushi place, I could go on forever....

Anyways, have fun at the show! Unfortch I cannot attend even though I live in Nashville and really want to go, but I'll be in St. Louis for my sister's baby shower Very Happy

Thanks Kim! Funny story, strange girl.

I had a similar experience. Once I was standing alone in downtown Seattle at about midnight after a concert, my friend was in the bathroom or phone booth or something, I can't remember, and this girl walks up to me and grabs my butt with both hands, gives it a good squeeze, then just walks away without saying a word. She had a weird smile the whole time, and I was like, "uhh, nice to meet you" as she walked away. Laughing So I know how Boyd felt.
