I save lives on the weekends.

During the week, I kill people.

It works out nicely.

I key data entry at a little hell-hole called Direct Mail Processors. I have worked there for almost 4 years, and they hired me when I was only 14. I truly feel like a slave there, haha. I hope to get another job soon, but I may just wait until the end of next year since I'll be finished with college and ready to move!

So, I don't have a job right now, but come the spring semester I will kind of be working at the National Gallery of Art in DC.

It's an internship where I'll be scanning slides and other stuff for their conservation department. I get a stipend at the end, and get a cool badge with my picture on it, that will allow doors to open for me where art is just leaning up against walls waiting for your shoe to go right through it.

I'm super excited.

My job is to keep my friends sane, and give them an excuse to get away from their parents and other such stress.
No $$, but the benefits are great. Smile

Every saturday at the Lion Bookshop on the main street of Rome (via del Corso for those of you who know the place). I get called once or twice a week to work 4-5 hours at the FAO (United Nations building near the Colosseum) and I get to work at book fairs in international schools.
The wage is low for now but it should go up after the first couple of months, I love it, I get to have huge discounts on books and it's good for my CV (we've only got 3 english bookshops in Rome).

I coach soccer at St. Stephen's School (not far from the Colosseum, next to the FAO) twice a week and every once in a while I work at the front office in the same school.

That makes an average of 20 hours of work per week. Then I've got guitar and german lessons to add to that.

That's so cute Smile

I'm glad someone thinks so. Most people give me a weird look when I come around the corner with a stack of feed on my shoulder and dirt all over my face and shirt.

I've come to believe it's always too soon for jokes like that. Same for "Working at ____ makes me want to fly a plane into a building" jokes. Rolling Eyes
