One's that we don't already have decent semi updated recordings of that I think would be awesome: Blackened Crown (just listening to a live 2005 version today, that'd be awesome if they at least pull this one out for a future live set) Lady of the Wood Sleepy Head And if I can add another one: Wings & Windows |

Some of these songs y'all listed we already have nice recordings of though. Another song I like is "Cobalt." I think it was also called "Cookie Cutter Mystery." I'd like to have a good recording of that one. But yeah, "Lady of the Wood" is the main one. The solo version and the group version are so different but great in their own ways. _________________ we're really not alone, we have each other |

Definitely Lady Of The Wood, Silver Bugs, and Blackened Crown, which seems to be the most popular 3 choices. I'd love to hear Mr. Pine redone, but I'm perfectly contempt with the original version on that one, as it is one of my favorite Eisley songs as it is. Actually, I don't think it could be improved. |

Actually, I don't think it could be improved. i disagree, i love their arrangement on that song now, they didn't change it drastically, just some small stuff here and there, i like it so much better now. and when they play it now it's no where near as long as the old recorded version. my top picks would be: Telescope Eyes... jk... Silver Bugs Lullaby Queen of Leaves Lady of the Wood Mr.Pine Laughing City Escaping Song (Acoustic Version)...(i like it better acoustic, actually...) _________________ cynlovescandy wrote: kulvir wrote: I bet R. Lady Of The FRIGGIN Wood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With the band. "I wouldn't care cuz machines are 4 the birds...." Hell yeah. I've always loved Silver Bugs but it seems the band never plays it. I'd love to hear that one recorded. Aaaaaannnndd....I think We/I Feel Good whatever the title really is. But really now Lady of the friggin Wood should have some playtime in their live performance anyhow!!! _________________ Its all in the making. Its all yet to be.
