He didn't say they wouldn't, I don't think. He just said it's difficult to do when they are headlining, and they might not be able to find a way. But hopefully they can.

Yeah, I don't remember him ever saying they wouldn't for sure, but I thought I read in Trolley Wood something about what you said.

Even if they don't do a meet and greet, you can still find them walking around before their set. Smile

Yeah, I forget where he said it. But you did read that recently from him. Maybe someone who still has a memory can figure that out. Laughing

I suggest hiding in the bushes outside or any dark corners of the interior. Wear something that blends into the the foliage, or if you're inside, something that blends into the walls. It's a absolute must to check out the venue before the night of the concert so you can plan your wardrobe accordingly.

Don't try and take them all down as a group, and look to see if any are already wounded. Weston may be tall, but if you go for the legs he'll go down easily.

Should we arrange some well coordinated plans, like split into groups to have maximum coverage, and assign tasks for each group member?
And we should probably all meet up and rehearse it through just to be extra certain we will succeed.

This is what Boyd said...
Quote:
I can't remember if I've tried to explain it before - re: the whole signing thing. When you open, you have time after your show... and merch booths are still open. It's a regiment. You finish your set, shake off the rock show for a second, get a drink and GO sign. But on headlining shows, you finish your show, go do the same thing and by the time you could get outside, club owners are running everyone out. "GET OUT IF YOU'RE NOT BUYING SOMETHING!" And besides that, it's just the way it's done. Occasionally a few band members will come out for a few minutes to say hello and sign a few things by the bus, but that's pretty random. I saw Mute Math doing it some... but typically not every member... sometimes not at all. Dig? Sorry.

As long as Eisley is smallish, signing will continue on opening slots. I think you're ok for a while. Smile

thanks.

When I saw them on the Final Noise tour, they were standing like 8 feet behind me while Brighten or Simon Dawes was playing and I couldn't get myself to go say hi and such.

When I saw them on the acoustic tour, I saw them sitting down like 40 feet away with Boyd and nobody else around them while Wesley Jenson was playing and I couldn't get myself to go say hi and such. I did say hi to Boyd and talk to him for a minute earlier, but still, blah.

When I saw them on the Mute Math tour, I left the venue for like 10 minutes after they played and then came back in before Mute Math was going on and Stacy and Sherri were walking by RIGHT in front of me while Chauntelle, Garron, and Boyd were all standing by the merch table right on the left side of me. I STILL couldn't get myself to say hi to any of them!

I SUCK! But seriously, they're Eisley. Hah. I know they're just people like everyone, who happen to make great music, but I suck at talking to band members and stuff aside from people I know.

What a shame! They're the most approachable people on earth! It's not like "Hey we're the BAND, peasant!" In fact my 14 yr old daughter remarked, " They're so shy!" Please go up to them next time!

I know but I think it's more about me being self-conscious and walking up and being like "hey!" and then blanking on what else to say...hah.

But hopefully I will get myself to talk to them next time.

Golly, Poster

Just say "hi" and introduce yourself. Tell them you like their music. They are all pretty easy to talk to.

ugh, i know how you feel. Whenever I see someone famous or of importance it's like,,,I dunno, i just wouldn't dream of approaching them in fear of embarassing myself. If Eisley came over to London, (Which i hope they do), i hope I'll be confident enough to speak to them. I hate being shy Embarassed
