Venue floors should be sloped towards the stage

Nooo, I'm 6'3", I'd have to stand against the back wall. Laughing

And photographers get a pit to stay out of the way and have some freedom to move.

Also, tall people with big hair are banned from being up front, unless they are on the sides. ha ha. There's always some douchey guy up front blocking everything.

Thanks, I have seen some pics of the HOB, and it looks roomy. It has been a while since I have been to Dallas...back when Deep Ellum existed. Now I assume there is a new vibe and I just wanted a heads up. I leave the day before the Seatte show (thanks to my job) and I have fam. in Dallas, so it worked out. My plane gets me there by 6pm, so I should have time to settle. I am just excited I finally get some time off and what a better way to spend it.
Don't worry, I am short and I will not shove. As long as I get to hear them live I am content. ^.^

Sounds like a good plan! I despise HOB, but it should be a ton of fun.

Seriouuusly. I'm just 5'4, so I think I'd have a pretty good spot, haha. I've always got the tallest dudes and dudettes in front of me.

I feel terrible when I take pictures in the crowd because I'm 5' 10", too. That's one reason I try to move around when I can. Only punish people a few songs at a time. Laughing

I'm about 5'10'' too, but I don't think that I should feel guilty about standing in front of people. Nobody can change their height (well, without dangerous and expensive surgeries...) They can usually just move to solve the problem, it seems. When I'm behind someone that is taller than me, I can usually just move to the side and be able to see.

So far, seeing The Smashing Pumpkins, has been the only show (that I can recall) where the crowd has been unbelievably sweet. I didn't have to pout, or hop up and down or complain to my sister that I couldn't see. They'd look around, offer their spots up, ask if I needed a good shot of the band if they were taller. It was just awesome. Makes the show that much better when people cooperate.

I'm 5'3 and at the last concert i went to, the guy standing in front of me was quite tall. I politely asked if i could stand in front of him because i couldn't see and i obviously wouldn't be blocking his view. He was really nice about it and let me move in front of him.
So it never hurts to ask!

Another thing I read- some of the bands have long setups and performance times, it will affect timing of when to arrive for Eisley. If show starts at 8, expect Eisley around 10:30? Good thing I am on a different time zone. Eat a big meal and wear comfy shoes and I am in.

Definitely. I would like if they would hold the Dallas shows there.
