The chords for most of the song are exactly the same. I'm not totally sure about the bridge, but: Like The Actors Capo 1: E Dust was supplied in the making of the movie, A I don't mind, but I've got my place to share with the world E Sharing and sharing all day long... etc. |

Chord progression is often a result of voice leading from the melody. If you can plunk out the melody on piano, it will probably be a lot easier to figure out the chord progression. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

Right, I had a go at this from scratch because I knew someone wanted the song. For the acoustic guitar part I also came up with capo on 1st fret and the song is E and A, both verse & chorus. Clever duckies, that fooled me! The A chord sounds nice with the B-string open too so you get that chimey tone. It also adds variety to pluck a couple notes on the B (3rd fret during E chord) & high E (3rd & 5th during A) while fretting with the pinky. The little musical bit before the bridge goes like this: D--------------------------------------------------------------------- A---5------5-4-----4-3----7-8---8-8-8-8-7-5-5-5-5-7-8-8-8-8-7-5-5-5 E------1-5-----1-5--------------6-6-6-6-5-3-3-3-3-5-6-6-6-6-5-3-3-3 The main 'piano riff' goes like this on guitar e---1--------------- B---1--------------- G---2-------2------- D---3----3----5-3-- A---3--3------------ E---1---------------- Remember, capo on first fret. However I haven't figured out the bridge either. Anyone else? |
