Oh wow. Look at all the fun you all are having. I think I'll stay out of it :3 But yeah, it is probably too late to add some songs. What is funny though is that the Junior class had to sign up for different parts of the prom committee. I signed up for music and awards, yet we never had any meetings of any sort to discuss anything. I wonder who was in charge of that whole group anyway :/ Still, I already burned the CD, so I may as well take it just in case. |

Eisley is not good prom music. It's not danceable, and the cheesy love songs aren't the type of cheesy love songs that make good slow-dances. And after my prom, I can honestly say that I never once heard anybody mention anything positive or negative about the music that was played. I don't think it would have crossed anyone's mind. You know what to expect if you've ever been to a dance before. It's all the same stuff because it works. Prom is in no way about the music. _________________ EvilSpace |

Unless your school is open minded, I think you should pass on trying to get Eisley to be played. I know if I did that at my prom, there would be A LOT of angry people.. not because Eisley is bad in any way, but because like 95% of my school listens to rap and all that is related to rap. _________________ Be happy, be contagious. |

Most of my school enjoys music like Dave Matthews Band, Guster, Jack Johnson and Dispatch but still the prom DJ played rap and hip hop because it's got a familiar beat and EVERYONE knows the songs. I didn't hear a single complaint about the music, though- because if the DJ did play something like Jack Johnson we wouldn't be able to let loose as much and break. it. down. yo. _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me!

Music shouldn't be the reason you rule it out (not aimed toward original poster, but towards anyone). Somehow, I believe this was pointed towards Sophie and me. If I want to feel pretty and listen to music I don't like, I'll go to church, thank you. Hahahhhahah. Word. _________________

That seems to happen a lot lately, and I'm tired of it. It's a trollish and immature thing to do (and before you jump to yet another conclusion, calling you out on it is not trollish or immature). So stop. Thanks. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

So...maybe we should all remind ourselves of what this board is for--Eisley talk. Arguing with a person in high school about prom is not the most hip, happenin' thing to do. Take Eisley to prom if you want, don't if you don't. It's just prom, really. Have a good time with your friends and shake some booty (even if you can't really dance). No matter what your choice about the issue is, Eisley will still be there when you wake up the next morning and you'll still like them. And that's all I have to say. I couldn't leave the boards without saying something because I found this all sort of ridiculous. Now I've gotten myself into it. Awesome. P.S. I realize the post started out about Eisley. It's now just people bickering about prom DJs. |

Also, prom needs this guy. An Eisley collab with him would be ... interesting. (There, brought it back around to Eisley.) _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
