I finally got around to d/ling and listening to this.

The songs they chose were:

Radiohead - Creep
Alicia Keys - ? (they don't actually say but maybe No One?)
Maroon 5 - Without You
Coldplay - Yellow

i figured they would play a Bjork song, but maybe they only had a certain set of songs they could choose from? i'm not sure what type of station it is exactly.

It's one of those "we play everything" stations. I've heard everything from Radiohead to Kanye West to John Mayer on there. It's my 4th preset so I don't go there that much, just when my first 3 are on commercial/bad songs.

ok.
I think it'd be great to play Bjork - It's Oh So Quiet on a public radio station..........people would probably have heart attacks and cause wrecks.........ok, bad idea.........but it was a single........i imagine a lot of people thought the volume was low during the soft parts and then got their ears blasted during the loud parts.

i just remembered something.
i don't know if they've mentioned it anywhere else, but didn't they say they were wanting to do some recording for an EP to put out before the end of the year in this interview? i know they've talked about recording, but i don't remember a specific mention of releasing something relatively soon.

Its amazing that the girls can answer the same questions they've probably been asked since day 1 of Eisley and still be engaged focused and good natured about it.

Great interview...the only problem I had with it was the fact that us
"normal guys" have no chance with the Eisley girls. Unless we start a band and tour the country side.
So start a band and go on the road already. And don't forget to pack your obsessive compulsive neurotic disorders since that is on the Eisley girl checklist too. Laughing

I just got around to listening to this now. You remember correctly, Sherri said they were hoping to get "at least an EP" done before the end of the year. That's newsworthy to me. Better than newsworthy, that's shimmyworthy! They also mentioned something to the effect of having too many new songs than they should at this point, so an EP sounds like a good/smart idea.

I love how Stacy recalls what her sisters were playing when they were just learning guitar because "I was listening to that (locked) door pretty intently." Very Happy
