I was all about some OLP around Happiness is a Fish...time.
I need to listen to that last track with Elvin Jones (famous jazz drummer) on it.
They came to MTSU during the Spiritual Machines tour, so I saw them for free. I remember the bass player wearing cow print pants (i guess that's what you call them).
Isn't Chantal Raine's wife?

Man, I wish I saw them around the time Spiritual Machines came out so bad. I assume Mike Turner was still playing guitar back then? He's so much better than the new guy. Unfortunately I never got the chance to see them until the Gravity tour.

And yeah, they're married.

Something about Spiritual Machines turned me off, so I never bought that album. Everything I heard seemed a retread of previous things they'd done. I have no idea about the guitarist - I guess you could try to find a gigography if they have one and find a Murfreesboro, TN/MTSU concert date around that time.

The funniest thing about that concert - they had this band open for them called The Sheila Devine and they had this bass player that just strutted around stage and would do these leg kicks and stuff. It was so funny. He wouldn't jump or anything, just like straight karate kicks I guess is how you'd describe them. Never seen anything like it.

Man, that's probably one of my favorite albums of all time. I honestly think it's perfect. Happiness... is probably second on the list though.
