Mates of State, Tilly and the Wall and Fleet Foxes would all be great, too, as previously mentioned. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I'm pretty sure that's a great idea. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. It'd be cool if they toured with "The Mollies"; I think Kim posted a topic about them before, and they were really nice. Their sound would mesh in nicely with ze eisley moosic. _________________ "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated" -Mahatma, Gandhi |

This may sound counterintuitive- and I don't know if it fits the "realistic" criteria, and everyone is going to hate the idea But I think Eisley should get an opening spot with the Cure- at least for a few shows. They still pack arenas, and what amazes me is how many younger fans they still draw. Based on aesthetics, I think the largest number of untapped potential Eisley fans is at the Cure show. And I think the Cure would 'get' Eisley. If tracks like Marvellous Things, Memories, Blackened Crown, Over the Mountains, Invasion, etc. crossed RS's radar screen, I think they'd be in. |
