which is gay. i think all bands should allow fans to document concerts.

i think bands should have control over the quality of material that's released. sometimes there's factors you can't control as a band, like the sound guy, or the mix, or the recording equipment, etc.. if some non-fan out there is interested, and sees something low-quality, they may be turned off forever. first impressions are so important.

Yeah, but wouldn't those same non-fans be turned off if they saw the show live anyway? Handheld cameras aren't the greatest, obviously, but they capture what's there as if one were standing in the crowd anyway. I don't know, quality control to this extent (live videos) seems excessive because honestly it seems more like a numbers thing than an art thing.

not at all. i've taken little amateur videos at shows, and watched them afterwards and thought, "man, that sounds kinda bad," but during the show i was absolutely loving it, and it sounded great.

i don't know why some of you are getting so angry that eisley wants to see this first. if they want to, that's fair; i've pm'd boyd letting him know that i'll let them see it first, and am waiting for a reply.

oh, btw. keep forgetting. I have the first rough cut of the eisley live video
from the Metro in Chicago. It's very decent...now there's a live show for
you. I think management wants to mix it.

Thanks! I've been wondering about that. I was in front row on the first date, and second row on Sunday. It was a great show, and I'm really looking forward to seeing footage of all of the bands. It was taped in Nov. and no one else had mentioned it.. I was getting impatient Very Happy
