If you ask me, SYP is just as good, and it's still somewhat active. So yeah, http://www.strangeyellowpatterns.com/ is the way to go now. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

It's true--I let the OGG domain expire. I just didn't feel like renewing it anymore, and the process is double-plus-unsimple since the domain is registered through my old web hosting provider but the content is hosted on my new one. I thought about making an announcement here when I got the expiration notice, but it slipped my mind. If enough people want me to, I might register one of those super-cheap .info or .me domains with GoDaddy just to have an archive. All the files are still on my webspace, it's just that nothing is pointing to them. There's always the Wayback Machine if you're jonesing for some OGG content (unfortunately devoid of my pretty CSS stylings). For the record, I heartily endorse Strange Yellow Patterns. Chad and Nora were OGG staff before I stopped updating the site, and they have done an admirable job of carrying on that legacy of extensive Eisley information. tahruh wrote: ![]() _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

You should've been smart like me and saved them to a CD. I went through some of them a few weeks ago and I found the video that was supposed to be a street team thanks that turned into the album cover for Room Noises. _________________ Power is only pain It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in. I was thinking about making a new Eisley fan site. Do you guys know if I have to get the band's permission first, or can I just have at it? Are we allowed to use the photos posted on this site as long as we credit them back? Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions _________________ Poor Writer is my hero. |

Even if others are different, I can't imagine Eisley having trouble with a new fan page. So I say you should go for it! I've never heard much of a problem with the free, public content shared here, either. As far as suggestions go ... I'll have to think on it. Anyway, good luck! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
