That's optimistic, but this time around, they are only 1/2 way through the record with the hope of getting in done and out in the fall. I wouldn't expect a single till September if we're extremely lucky. I sincerely doubt it though. October is more reasonable. _________________ yup, that's my name. so october for a single...when do u think the album will be out? I hope its this year. If i have to wait anymore im gonna explode. All I know is fall starts September 20th or 21st and ends December 20th or 21st. I expect later rather than sooner, and the ideally, making a record available at the time people are shopping for the holidays is good, but winter record releases, not so much, cause it's harder to get people out of their homes and away from their families if you're gonna tour at that time. September is already a huge month for releases, so it might be best to avoid competing with Jay-Z, Pearl Jam, the Swell Season etc for press, but shooting for near or during October. This also give time for a little touring to support the release before the holidays hit. Who knows though? So, I'd hope October, but wouldn't be shocked if it came out in early to mid November. _________________ yup, that's my name. I have utterly ceased to pay attention to anything Boyd tells us about release dates. It's not because I don't think I can trust him, but rather because WB has delayed both their previous albums long after they were ready for consumption. Since they're not done tracking yet, I don't see any way the new album will be out this fall, and I optimistically expect it in late winter 2010. How'd yall find out what it was called? I have em all on twitter and facebook and myspace haha and i havnt heard them mention any song names other than "better love" "Smarter" "be kind" and one other song. no stop saying that. it has to be in october/november spring 2010 is WAY to far away. its gonna get jinxed lol. it has to come out in 2009.
