why would this be suffering? didn't eisley play first every night? you could have just left after they played. Brand New may not be the greatest band ever, but Hot Rod Circuit definately is. The fact that Eisley was on tour with them is how I was introduced to Eisley. The Hot Rod members are also some of the nicest guys. I'm sad that their drummer Mike has decided to leave the band to pursue a career in producing. Hopefully Hot Rod and Eisley can tour together again this year. They both have new albums coming out so this should work out perfectly. yep yep. this should work out just fine.

so agree. HRC guys are amazing. We still talk to them often... Sad about Mike, but he's happy doing what he's doing...and leaving the band really works out well for he and his feonce'. Touring is hard.

I know tons of Eisley fans don't get BN...just like many BN fans probably don't like Eisley; but those who overlap and like both are broad. Again, when you meet people in bands and realize they're just like you and listen to the same music, you start to like their music also. It's weird.

so is the management wanting Eisley to headline their own tour at this point, or open for a bigger, established band?

i think which ever, you should give Richard Swift the opening spot. i've only heard 2 of his songs and they're amazing. i think he's only released like 30 minutes of music so far, so that would be perfect. i need to put an order into Velvet Blue.

maybe you should've read my second post...

it went like this:
Quote:
Tater's my man, that's why the word "suffered" was in "quotes" meaning I was being sarcastic... I enjoyed both performances...

though the first time i saw HTR, I did suffer... they got alot better!

maybe they've heard of Further Seems Forever. I'll do a poll just to see.

When I say WB, I can't mean everyone in the company. I just know that
Craig had never heard of those bands...and Eisley's management hasn't
heard of those bands. It's no big deal. I was just making the point that
labels seem to know of these kinds of bands: the ones on national labels,
some of the ones about to be signed, the popular ones on indie labels like
sub pop, barsuc, etc. the bands they're scouting down in the great
underground and they know Christian crossover bands like Switchfoot
and POD, etc. They don't keep up with Christian indie bands or seem to
know them at all. But as I said....so what.

Eisley should either be the opening band for a large, well established act like Coldplay, or, they need to headline their own club tour, like the Brand New tour, except with Eisley as the main act.

OK, this is fun! I've actually talked about this with people. My Eisley tour dream would be Jimmy Eat World, Eisley, and Mae. I think it would be a great combination of three awesome bands with great talent and variety. But I would except substituting Mae for Death Cab For Cutie, so either of those combinations would possibly be my dream concert.

Agreed. One hundred per cent.
Except, I'm from Canada, and I didn't have to pay an absurd amount of money for it.
