EISLEY is the BEST Very Happy The 'Detroit' show was actually in downtown Pontiac,MI at a club called 'Clutch Cargo's". The place was actually an old renovated 4-story stone church building. Very cool. It still had generic (non-religious) stained-glass windows and everything. the inside was pretty much gutted (all pews and other religious or church -related items and and furnishings were stripped, but it still looked like a church inside. The elevated stage was where the alter would have originally been, and the main standing/ dancing floor was the entire area of the church floor that would have been pews. There was a bar along one side wall and a few small booths and tables along the other. There was a curving staircase in the back corner that led up to a huge wrap-around balcony that ran along both sides overlooking the stage and main floor, with another bar in the rear of the balcony area. very interesting set up!

Doors opened at 6, Moving Mountains started at 6:30, follwed by Moneen, and then EISLEY came on about 7:45 and played until about 8:25. The sound wasn't very good. Wes and Garron told us later that they thought the place had poor acoustics and the amps and main speakers were misplaced too low. But EISLEY was amazing, as always! The set was pretty much what others have described, a few fro Room Noises, a few from Combinations, The Valley and Ambulance, and Max and Sherri's song. It was pretty awesome. The girls and Boyd all came back the merch table to talk, sign autographs, and pose for photos. They were all incredibly sweet, patient , and friendly. My daughter Samantha got a hug from Sherri, when Sherri realized Sam was the one she had done a Fairy Drawing for back in April. Chauntelle was very talkative and sweet- she's definitely the most out-going and would make an amazing PR person!. And Boyd was very entertaining , as always. Got to meet several other LC posters : "Michigan Eisley Fan" ( another 'Dad" Eisley fan, like me!)and his daughter Shereen, and "McBeers" , a young husband and wife with a beautiful 8 week-old baby girl named ..."Eisley" (of course!) That was very cool as well. We all got some autographs and photos with the the girls and Boyd took a few photos as well with his iPhone. We didn't stay late for Say Anything, as we had a 2 hour drive home, and daughter Samantha had to go to school the next day (5th grade is tough!) We did follow other's suggestions though, and walked around back to find Wes and Garron loading the equipment in the trailer. they were also very friendly and chatted and signed our FireKite EP and the Mr. Moon Litho that came with it. A very awesome evening for two big Eisley fans!! Thank you Eisley! Love All the DuPrees are amazing and wonderful!

aww sounds like you guys had fun! that sounds like a really neat venue too!

it's probably best that you didn't stay for Say Anything because the language in some of the songs isn't really appropriate for kids, but that's just my opinion.

Dan did a great job of summarizing the concert! We really enjoyed the music and new songs and listened to the EP all the way home! It was really great to get to meet the Chauntelle, Sherri, Stacy and Boyd - they were all really friendly. It was especially cool for my daughter Shereen, who is a huge Eisley fan to get to see everyone again. Also, we enjoyed meeting Dan and Sam, the "McBeers" and baby Eisley. A great time was had by all Very Happy [/img]

I think you're probably right. I'm not overly familiar with most of SayAnything's music, (I do like Max's "I Hate Everybody"..), but I wasn't really sure how appropriate it would be for a 10 year-old, and we had a long drive home... Now, had Eisley been headlining and not started until last - we'd have stayed until the wee hours of the morning for them of course! Wink

As "Mighigan Eisley Fan" said, a great time was had by all! It was really nice to meet them and other enthusiastic Eisley fans and get to chat with them , as well as with all the wonderful Duprees Very Happy
It was a truly awesome night. Can't wait for the album promotion concert tour early next year!

Also: really enjoy the FireKite EP. "The Valley " is definitely my favorite, and "Ambulance" is great too. "192 Days" is really fun and cute,~you can't help but smile when you listen to it, and you can really feel how happy Sherri is with Max. And THAT makes ME happy! Wink
