Pretty great version of the song. Nice work, you guys. Hoping for some more harmonies, but I'll take what I can get. You really should consult with the fans (via Laughing City) and compose a songlist for a 2010 Christmas Album. I want to hear "Rise Up Shepherd and Follow" personally. |

I liked it. I love that it's so subdued. Most performances of it are so melodramatic. Also, I get to love it for completely different reasons than I love, say, Sufjan Stevens' version. I hope that the texture of the song is a sign of things to come for the new album. Jamie? |

Wonderful version, indeed in most interpretations the singer sounds so self-important and overly dramatic, but Stacy & Sherri breathe a humble, elegant reverence into it. I like the instrumentation a lot too, really turns it into an Eisley song. _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |
