Yeah, Max and Sherri's is great. Their dog Truly will truly be missed because....

For a change of scenery (and A/C) we're moving to Chauntelle's.

Then we'll move to Stacy's to record real piano.

I'm looking forward to more cheerful songs. They have had so many wonderful events in their personal life since writing The Valley. I can't wait to hear some of that joy come through.

I think that's my only complaint about The Valley. It was a big breakup album. The songs are great IMO, but there's too little variation in subject matter.

Is this EP going to be a physical release? Do we know?

It will be a hardcopy because we know that Boyd is working on an insert filled with history and new photos. Cool

You guys are taking the concept of home recording to a whole new level! Hope everyone's back holds up. Smile

They updated today that one of the new songs is called "Laugh It Off". Hmm... I'm really wondering what the new EP will sound like.

I really hope it isn't more breakup songs. I understand that that was a large part of their lives, but The Valley was...well...ALL breakup songs (aside from Kind).

Andy - to give us an idea of what you strive for sonically while recording, what are some of your favorite albums as far as how they were recorded?

Speaking of Andy, you'd think he could get a custom forum rank. Where's that mod?

I wouldn't call the Valley a break-up song either. I do how see how 4/11 is a minority thematically, but who am I to split hairs?

I highly doubt it will be more break up songs. That part of their life is over.

Over, but not forgotten. Brand New still sings songs about Sherri. Wink
