It almost looks like Max broke ties with Equal Vision, who Rory Records was a part of, and Merriment was a part of - so who knows if/when this music will come out?

Say Anything Sign with Dine Alone Records
8 months agoēJason Tate

Say Anything have signed with Dine Alone Records and will be releasing their new Will Yip produced album later this year. Brooklyn Vegan has the following quote from Max Bemis:

It is surreal to have a new home for Say Anything. Itís been a minute since thatís been the case and Iím totally excited that weíll now be working with the wonderful Dine Alone Records. Iíve been a fan of the label for a long time and am full on stoked to release our new Will-Yip-produced LP with them. The record is a bit different from the last one (blah blah as always) and is going to be an involved, weird organism, but one I am glad to entrust to Dine Alone. If youíre in Texas come see us play with our (OMG) labelmates Ö..And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead to celebrate the occasion.

With Equal Vision being NY based and Dine Alone having offices in Nashville and LA it seems more accessible. Having a Toronto office too means they have a base of operations for the Upper East Coast as well. They also have some pretty well known artists on their roster (for 90s and 2000s alt/ emo/ indie fans) which is impressive for a Canadian founded indie. They have partnered with WB & Sony to promote a couple of their new artists in the past 10 years.
