Ok, so here i am , thumbing through the latest Dallas Observer issue , minding my own business, and there it is: an ad for the shows! Very cool! It's so nice to come across something Eisley when you're not even expecting it! Isn't it funny how excited we get over silly little things like this??! See the 2 images below: You're all gonna be there, right? RIGHT ?
Here it is up close:

wow, that pic is really cool. thanks sooo I still dont understand the whole ticket thing. Do I buy one? Do I not buy one? Are the tickets magical and dont really mean anything? So confused about what to do. If anyone can help me figure out what's going on with the whole ticket shebang.. that would be awesome. thanks lots _________________ "Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed." prov 16:3 |

I'd love to be there, just this 900 mile distance is a bit foreboding. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

whoa. kris just had an amazing realization. are you guys (moss... er... eisley. without the moss.) driving all the way back to tyler on saturday evening? i'm supposing so... for church and stuff... but gosh. that would stink. and i'd feel bad and stuff. and i'd whimper. so sad-like. and then even you would feel sorry for yourself. if you didn't already. which you probably did. ... _________________ xoxo, kris |

I don't hate flying machine, but it seems to me more people like hanging out with the members of the band, than like there music. In fact the last time I saw them play they headlined there were probaly about 120 or so people there after they played two songs the crowd had dropped to about 50 after four songs it was just there friends left to watch. I had meet a couple of people who had come to see opening bands and had heard good things about the flying machine so they stuck around, after four songs they left. The size of a crowd does not indicate the greatness of a band but my point is that it seems the only people who really enjoy flying machine are people who know them personaly. It is not that they are a bad band, it just seems like eisley being a big time band could find a more musically agreeable opener. I will post a list of 21 local bands that I think would make a better fit as an opener in the shamless area. Good Luck to all the bands at the gypsy. |
