Michael was/is a friend of the family that when Stacy was 8 years old, he tried to commit suicide. It affected her deeply, so she grabbed a guitar and started writing a song about him, and that song is what pulled the siblings all together to start writing songs together. P.S. Michael lived and is married with two kid's now and works with Teen Challenge
