I know you guys said already that you wont be at cornerstone this year, but since the coldplay tour will be over by then, isnt there any chance to be there even if for only one day? _________________ "Fame is lust to be loved, and fortune is to live off the fat of the land" - Lee Bozeman "Throw your home work on to the fire, and go out and find the one that you love." -Morrissey |

I just remembered, technically it's Cornerstone that helped get them signed, or at least a big part of it. Aaron Sprinkle took it to T&N, played it for some guys... who played it for some other guys who... something like that. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

I was just asking because I was making out my Cornerstone schedule. Quote: but i don't think it will fit into future plans I have a question, although I'm not sure you want to answer it right now. Are you looking to avoid being given the Christian brand and everything that comes with it? Hence, not going to Cornerstone? Anyway, I think its very cool if that's the plan. (It's much better than the Evanescence plan of saying the f-word in their EW article) If not, then just erase my post and tell me to shut up. |

shhh, we shall not speak of such things as this Cornerstone you speak of... I am afraid( not sure yet) but afraid that I won't be able to go this year... and that makes my heart sad. Ah Lovely, smelly, hot, sweaty, dirty glorious Cornerstone!!! What a fun time... Midnight rides in the golf carts, searching for things at mainstage to return to various people all over the camp site ( as if we would ever find them) searching for new friends in the dark... as well as the great shows, and demise of K-max... oh the memories... and this is the big year too! I just may cry !!! Maybe i can go anyways... i'll pray that it all works out!!! I have to go! I heart Jon ... I heart Eisley... I heart Cornerstone!!!!! _________________ sometimes i write in here... http://www.xanga.com/dpwrchick |

Cornerstone in our hearts. Of course we loved Cornerstone. It was this hot, sweaty, miserable - bigger than life experience that we'll cherish forever. The deal with not going doesn't center around our distaste of non-affinity. It's simply the band's new agent's call. He doesn't want to book shows and block up the calendar and prevent touring. Also, it wouldn't be on the main stage....not that eisley deserves the main stage, but...anyway, yeah, I guess that's all I understand about it. Actually, eisley's signing and current situation had nothing to do with Cornerstone...it was just the beautiful backdrop to the events that took place (afterward): CD given to Josiah Holland - given to Aaron Sprinkle - given to Michael Barber - given to the industry - which led to much showcasing in LA/NY - which led to Nettwerk/WB decision. It all happened after Cornerstone so it felt like it was connected. Still does. ok. my lunchbreak is over. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Or did you guys meet/know Josiah Holland already? Not to say if they hadn't gone to Cornerstone they wouldn't have gotten signed.. that was inevitable (pracitically The "not tying up the tour schedule" makes some sense I guess, but it could just be a one-day thing if scheduling was a problem (go there, play, go to next show). I guess it's not too late to add on to some tour, but typically a tour in late June/July would be scheduled by now, so a conflict seems unlikely. Ah well, they'll be missed at Cornerstone. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |
