I've searched around the message board and haven't found any Eisley bass tabs Sad only guitar stuff. Supwitdat? Any bassists willing to share tabs they've got? If any? It would be appreciated.

Spanks.

I'm looking for some as well. I'm just learning at the moment (playing Coldplay, Radiohead, and news songs some friends have written) but Eisley tabs I think would be even more fun to learn. Very Happy

Other than http://eisleytab.cjb.net/ I haven't found any.

If I ever feel really inspired I'll pick some basslines out and email them to be posted on that tab site along with the guitar chords I figured out. I just figure that the best way to do it is to just try and decipher them on your own. That way, your ear for picking things out will greatly improve.

use your ear, as bgburroughs says. Jon doesn't do anything too difficult, just listen.

Yeah, I understand. Those guitar chords on the link posted above should be a good starting point, though. Good luck...

when i first picked up the bass guitar (about five years ago) i just sat in my room and picked out basslines in songs. i didn't really know anything about guitars at all. didn't have anyone to show me. learning how to listen to songs and then figure out how to play them is a pretty important skill to work on. that is if you suck as bad as i do. it can only help.

me and stacy just ate chocolate ice cream. and it's almost five am.
good night.
