You can keep up with all the news over in the Eisley Full Length section. Boyd posts updates there all the time. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I pm'd him... but: LP being recorded. Finish in May. 3 months to manufacture and set up. That puts us at August. Strategies point toward delivery to market in Sept. (ducks from tomatoes and evil glares) So, as sad as that is - it's a recording year for eisley. Touring on mass scale will be Fall. WB is intent on setting this up right. There is marketing on big scale...but even without it, it's standard in the industry: 3 months to get it to the market after masters are turned in. Release schedules always depend on seasons, timing based on other releases, competition, etc. thanks. I swear I'll keep you guys SO updated. No secrets or games. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. and mini texas and massachussetts tours? lol j/k but you guys probably would just want to rest by then huh? you'd deserve it "Creative sabbatical" sounds like a good idea. And Boyd, the timeline for the LP/tour sounds good. We shouldn't complain. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |

no....i think it's cool if you guys are miffed. That means you really love the music. It takes so long....dang. Wait. there were questions. oh, sorry Kung Fu...a girl martial arts user. oh, what are we going to do over the summer besides sip smoothies with those little umbrellas? The answer is: i don't know. Agents never stop getting calls for offers....mangement never stops dreaming about opportunities and getting opportunities. BUT... What management is "saying" is that there'll be a few shows here and there...maybe another Texas tour... easy stuff. Stuff the band can do without tour support. So, in short, Texans will be able to hear the record live basically...that's my guess. Minnatotoians and Washingtonites and Idahoneese will wait for a Fall tour. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. D'oh! September?! Aww, man... No, that's cool, really. I'm not complaining. Just don't pull a U2 on us and decide to release it "sometime in 2005." _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
