Last I heard, OGG was no longer maintained, and I'm guessing she let it expire. If you ask me, SYP is just as good, and it's still somewhat active.

So yeah, http://www.strangeyellowpatterns.com/ is the way to go now. Smile

It's true--I let the OGG domain expire. I just didn't feel like renewing it anymore, and the process is double-plus-unsimple since the domain is registered through my old web hosting provider but the content is hosted on my new one. I thought about making an announcement here when I got the expiration notice, but it slipped my mind. If enough people want me to, I might register one of those super-cheap .info or .me domains with GoDaddy just to have an archive. All the files are still on my webspace, it's just that nothing is pointing to them. There's always the Wayback Machine if you're jonesing for some OGG content (unfortunately devoid of my pretty CSS stylings).

For the record, I heartily endorse Strange Yellow Patterns. Chad and Nora were OGG staff before I stopped updating the site, and they have done an admirable job of carrying on that legacy of extensive Eisley information.

They have done a good job but OGG's video collection was great. I pretty much had copied all the videos but then my hard drive died. It would be nice if those videos were available somehow. Maybe using Bittorrent?

You should've been smart like me and saved them to a CD. I went through some of them a few weeks ago and I found the video that was supposed to be a street team thanks that turned into the album cover for Room Noises. Cool

I thought I had them on a dvd-r but apparently I don't. I really should have kept a copy on my PC which is regularly backed up unlike the network drive that died.

I was thinking about making a new Eisley fan site. Do you guys know if I have to get the band's permission first, or can I just have at it?

Are we allowed to use the photos posted on this site as long as we credit them back?

Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions Smile

Hm ... Even if others are different, I can't imagine Eisley having trouble with a new fan page. So I say you should go for it!

I've never heard much of a problem with the free, public content shared here, either.

As far as suggestions go ... I'll have to think on it. Anyway, good luck!
