Eisley will be the band that will completely revolutionize the sound of music today. All the sound alike three chord punk bands will hear Eisley and say "Eeek. I guess we kinda[insert the s word] we should write music a little more like Eisley." And all the young music lovers will fall madly in love with Eisley too and get tired of their sound alike CDs. just my three cents worth _________________ Don't you let them tell you you're an ugly child. "And all the young music lovers will fall madly in love with Eisley too and get tired of their sound alike CDs. " well, i've not got tired of my sound alike CDs, but.... i haven't yetr recieved the albulms/EPs through the post... and... the sound alike CDs are ruddy good! But i am a young music lover... and midlake is still in my CD player (i record both Milkmaid Grand Army EP and Bamnan and Silvercork onto one CD so i don't have to change CDs in and out of my CD player. i think it's a pretty genius plan. bad use of brackets here, so they stop after the word "now"). And i have fallen in love with Eisley. it figures. ah. americanism? |

And all the young music lovers will fall madly in love with Eisley too and get tired of their sound alike CDs. just my three cents worth I hope writing music more like Eisley doesn't mean we get a million Eisley imitation bands, creating a a new wave of sound alike bands, continuing the cycle...No I hope it goes down like this. Eisley Rocks so hard and is so awesome that all the lame pop punk bands/lip synchors see it is futile to make anymore "music" and go home to cry to their mommies only to later emerge on one Vh1's 3 dozen realities shows defeated and morbidly overweight.....or what ever _________________ A good way to threaten somebody is to light a stick of dynamite. I think yoetheterrible hit the nail on the head. If Eisley enjoys huge success you can bet that before to long we'll see a host of copycat bands. Its been happening since the 80's. No one wants to be original anymore, its too hard. Musicians, and I use that term loosely, find it easier to just play like a band they see on trl. Our generation has yet to produce a timeless band like all the generations before us have. I dont think we're less talented or less inovative. I think the recording industry is the problem. "Record companys say they sign bands that "sell" so we have our voice in the form of money spent, but this isnt true when there is only one product on the shelf" (gavin castlton) _________________ Dont you worry, and remember one thing, adventures are exciting... |
