Heyy, for my degree we have to research recording studios. Although finding information about production and record companies are easy, finding the ACTUAL location of the studio is incredibly hard: obviously not publicised because the band choose it, it's just a location etc etc. Does anyone know the name of the studio where Eisley were recording this album? (Or any other album for that matter!) Thank you! _________________ "Speaking as a rational person, Al Qaeda are a loose assosiciation of terrorists who can be rounded up with sustained police investigation. They recorded it in Richard Gibbs' personal studio at his home in Malibu. I'm pretty sure it doesn't technically have a name. I can't remember where they recorded Room Noises (three different studios, as I recall, one of which may have been Rosewood in Tyler), or the EPs, but someone will respond with details, I'm sure. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

A tiny bit at Rosewood in Tyler. Here is the link to the website, but it's blank right now because Boyd is going to revamp it, I think. http://www.rosewoodstudios.com/ |

Thank you so much for all of your help, guys! It's so handy it's untrue. _________________ "Speaking as a rational person, Al Qaeda are a loose assosiciation of terrorists who can be rounded up with sustained police investigation. Some recording was done in Malibu, some in Tyler @ Rosewood. The album is currently being mixed in Tyler. The mixes sound amazing. That's all I can say. _________________ kirstenalyssa leach http://www.rosewoodstudios.com Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity, you will become a statistic. |

is that dupree/eisley created? no. it's a modified loop from LeAnn Rimes' "I Need You," which my dad mixed, I believe. it is a lovely intro though. boyd is about to re-do our website. i am pumped about that. _________________ kirstenalyssa leach http://www.rosewoodstudios.com Prove you're alive. I don't think the plugin is compatible? But i'm glad boyd is going to do it. It's not very good currently. At all. =] _________________ kirstenalyssa leach http://www.rosewoodstudios.com Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity, you will become a statistic. |

where exactly is Rosewood? i've known about it for years and drove up and down the street it's on, but never saw it. is it relatively close to the library? question two - does Rosewood do mastering? i record stuff at home and i was wondering today if ya'll could master it and make it sound a bit more professional. thanks. _________________ I am Torgo.
