it would never happen. I agree. Kevin is so incredibly talented and I think they would get along really well but I don't think this would ever happen. *gigglesnort* huh who dated who? this sounds dumb but i frankly could care less who eisley tours with as long as the fans of the other bands aren't mean because, really, im only there to see eisley. i guess it would be a huge bonus if they toured with someone i actually liked though... _________________ Say something witty, dammit! http://kimschaefer.bandcamp.com/ http://youtube.com/kimschaefermusic |

sherri used to date jesse (of brand new) who seems to be attached at kevin devine's hip. therefore it is fun to assume jesse and kevin are steady. _________________ guitarfreak217 wrote: Everyone, listen to Leigh. I'm kind of surprised you didn't know that, actually. *shrug* I know some of us used to secretly think they were the hottest couple on the face of the planet. Then she married Chad and we were all proven wrong. but, back on topic! I think Eisley should tour with Joshua Radin. mmhmm. _________________ guitarfreak217 wrote: Everyone, listen to Leigh. I knew there were rumors about it, I just didn't think they were true. _________________ www.kailahandler.bandcamp.com |

I'm trying to think of realistic possibilities that have had hints of plausibility ... I would change my pants, several times if that happened and they played near me. |

The Like would be a nice choice to tour with. Both bands have three girl rockers and they'd have a cool dynamic IMO! _________________ There is one place that you have not looked, and it is there - ONLY THERE - that you shall find The Master. Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. They mentioned Israel, Mute Math's video guy, in their "Making of Pershing" clip (here). If that connection gets them opening for Eisley, it would make my year. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

But just to hear that one song live would be cool for me. Especially since I'd be seeing them in Oregon. |

For my first pick, I would like to see Eisley tour with Jack's Mannequin. The band MAE would be my second choice. Silversun Pickups would be my third choice; however, tickets would be extremely hard to obtain if they tour with Silversun. Hushsound is a good pick, but they are opening for PATD. I think Eisley should steer clear of the whole indie-shiek thing. They don't seem to go over well with a lot of that crowd. But they would fit nicely on a bill with mature pop/emo based bands like Mae, or the more melodic indie crossover acts like Death Cab for Cutie or Imogen Heap. Mute Math was a good fit even though their live show is quite different from Eisley's. Coldplay was a good fit too. So is Fair, but Fair should obviously open. I also agree with The Like. Ditto for The Cardigans, but their career in the U.S. has fizzled and I doubt they'll be coming back anytime soon - especially with no new record. A tour with the recently reunited Sixpence None the Richer would work. That would be a great fit actually. |

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. I don't think it's so much them not going over well, so much as those crowds are so hipster/snobby that they don't accept new or different things unless it looks like it'll make them cool. And Sixpence would be awesome. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
