This is above High C? What I mean when I say 'high C' would be categorized as an octave above the normal C scale you practice (or at least we did in band). Sorry, if I'm using the wrong musical terms, it's been a while. btw - When you reply to someone you can hit the "quote" button on the top right of the person's post and then it will copy everything for you - like I did just above here. _________________ I am Torgo. Yes it is above high c. It is three notes higher then it. |

Yes it is above high c. It is three notes higher then it. cool. I don't know if I was ever able to get that high. It did seem I wasn't able to play as high after braces, but that was just me. I have no idea if that is what happens with most people. Maybe I just wasn't very good to start with. Every once in a while I get my trumpets out if I want to add something to a recording of mine. They probably need a good cleaning, but I use them so little it doesn't merit the cost because they'd just get back that way. I wondered if you ever heard of the band Cake? They are actually a rock band who has a trumpet player and had some fairly big hits in the mid to late 90's. **warning** They do have a couple of songs that a 9 year old shouldn't hear though. _________________ I am Torgo. Every day my parents make me practice 1-2 hours a day It is hard work! |
