i wrote this poem for the "Sisters of Dupree", welp here it goes:

i picked a flower covered in blue,
took it to the field to give to you,
you were there wide eyes and all,
even though you stood ever so tall.

you took it and held it to your loving heart,
and then the petals began to fall apart,
it withered and wrapped around a dead stem,
but then it began to grow a limb.

one, then two, then three and finally four,
it was now a pure white rose with tickling thorns,
that had been graced by your touched,
and sense then, not forlorn.

Most poets who believe there poems suck have written some great poems. It's just some kind of not wanting to admit it type thing. I've written a few poems that I said they sucked, but everyone that read it loved the poem. I think it's a commong thing among some poets. Love your poem by the way. Does anyone write poetry where they don't use a rhyming scheme? I would love to read anyone's poetry that writes poems.

yeah, awesome poem. When you worry about whether your art is good or not, sometimes it can create creative constipation. Thats my problem when I write songs.
